The story of the Aviary starts with the great fortune accumulated by Diszrict Hennel who upon his death dedicated his Amber estates and wealth to the one undying pass time he love more then any other, birds. All his considerable wealthy went to creating what is now a major attraction. His grand niece is now the head s of this great collection. Specimens of different rare birds from throughout Amber and the Golden Kingdoms are housed here in one of the three domed buildings or two outdoor pens that make up Amber’s Aviary. The interior of each building houses a different type of natural environment, where the birds live in a free-flight environment. The outdoor pens are home to the larger birds and the birds of prey.
