The finest most refined Teahouse in Amber. This was at one time a small tower for the constables but has since been rebuilt and remodeled into one of the most ornate and ascetically pleasing structures.

Operated by the elegant Blind Mara a onetime opera Diva who was blinded and scarred in the great fire. This refined grand dame is able to accommodate everything from receptions to private clandestine meetings. The Teahouse is the center of all gossip of the upper class in Amber. With Mara being in the know of all that is fit to print. She some how walks the fine line between discretion and gossip without ever offending.

The Teahouse became hers after the previous owner Col. Bershing ret. died and left it to her in his will, much to the surprise of his children. He claimed that it was only her voice "That brought this old veteran peace". With her career of singing gone she leapt at the chance of a study income and a change to return to the center stage of Amber.

Some time late at night they say you can still hear her singing. Many a late night patron walked home through streets echoing with the greatest operatic voice of Amber.
