Cared for by the city of Amber this is one of the honored sights of one true city. Here on the anniversary of deaths in battle Amberite bring flowers and lay beside the flame. The source for the strong flame is a mysterious vein of gas deep under Amber. Since before the time of the Elders the flame has burned and some say it was burning before Oberon's time and will be burning long after all are gone.

Located in the aptly name flame square this is also a free speech zone where anyone who has a gripe may stand upon the flame and speak his mind. Here all manner of crazy, zealous and outspoken individuals come to speak.  Most days the square is home to a modest open air market.
