This is a converted Royal Marine fortification and has been converted over to the Royal Guards. Though small it is one of the strongest structures of Amber. Here a small force could hold out indefinitely. This is the training grounds for the Royal guards is equipped with stables and a small holding cells.

            The Relationship with the Harbor District is remarkably good. They Royal Marines have made it clear that they are not there to enforce any laws, they leave that to the constables. As log as the barracks, officers and recruits are not harassed in any way the Royal Guards leave well enough alone. So it has been over the years, that a single member of the Royal guard, on or off duty, feels no fear walking through the same streets of the Harbor district where a platoon of constables would fear to go.

            The Constables are always training in their complex and only the best of the best become Royal guards. They stick out because of their uniform and the fact that they are never seen in anything but their uniform even off duty.

            This is also said to be a holding place for firearms and if that is so it is the only location out side of the pace that they held. The Armory in the Royal Guard Barracks is one of the most extensive and there is a small museum dedicated to every type of weapon in the GC and a few from Outshadow. This is used to prepare the guards for what they may someday face.
