The shipyard of the foundry district represent one of the largest economic concerns in the city of Amber. It is by far the single largest employer of low and medium wage earners. The are represents several yards but by far they are not the only shipyards in Amber. There are several  dotting the water way, usually specializing in medium and small water craft. For the Ship Yards of the Foundry district often called the "Foundry Yards" the only projects are large ship construction and repair. In this great shipyard you will also find the recent addition of 4 large dry-docks that have yet to be complete. When done these dry dock will be able to accommodate any two wood ships at one time...EACH. This would give them the unheard of ability to repair 10 ships at the same time.
