Constructed from shaped interlocking stone of unmatchable precision and strength the spire of Oberon is without a doubt the strongest feature in Amber. At over 200 meters high it is the tallest structure in Amber and reaches higher then the Royal Palace making it's tall point viewable from most of Amber and from miles out to sea when it's clear. Its large base is the backdrop for the largest Amphitheater in Amber capable of holding vast crowds.

Anther interesting aspect of the Spire is that it dies not seem to be resting right on the ground. A quick inspection of the base reveals that the stones stop 2 mm from the ground. Stranger still is that for all the masons who struggled to build this freestanding monolith in record time few could recall much detail. By the time most of the workers passed away they could not even remember working on the project.
The Spire also bears the great Pattern clock a gift to the City by Dworkin at the 10th Anniversary of the PFW. This large strange clock seems to need no maintenance, nor correction. It chimes each hour with a single resonating ring that comes from neither bell nor horn. At the base you swear that the sound comes from the high point of the spire. This ringing sound can also be heard far outside the city.
