There was a time when the Veterans hall was a sight to see. Dedicate by Oberon this was once a premiere feature of Amber and a living tribute to all the warriors of any service who had fought in defense of the one true city. Then the Veterans moved in, the sordid tale of the long and inevitable of erosion of this once impressive structure into the over crowded fire hazard it is today is not worthy of mention. Needless to say that many go out of their way to avoid this eye sore that even in the ugly Harbor district is considered a junk heap. The job of the veterans hall is that of social gathering center for Veterans and as place where down on there luck  veterans or ill veterans can find respite. This is the last stop for a Veteran once they have   their stay at their own benevolent halls, they will either be admitted here or they will live on the streets.
