Originally called the North Arch it took on the name Palace arch during construction and that is what it is know as to this day. Located at the foot of the causeway leading up to Amber the Palace arch is a simple broad white marble affair straddling the Unicorn way. It is located at the confluence of three main roads.  This is the only Great Arch in Amber that is not in a large public square area. Though not at all ornamental it makes up for this with shear massive size.

The unfortunate choice in the arches material has lead to it's premature ageing and there has been many rumors of it's pending reconstruction but so far this weather beaten arch has received to aid.

Every full moon evening a loan fiddler comes to this Arch and plays a lonely tribute. This has started to attract an audience who have kept a respectful distance. It is the buzz of the district to find out who this haggard musician and why does he play. Rumors about regarding this mysterious player who plays for two hours or so then mounts up a nag and rides down into the city.
