This is the master metal smith of Amber and Duane Marshals Forge is the largest Metalwork's in Amber. Now in the fourth generation of Marshal family member Duane has created an empire. DM makes everything from fine silver to armor for the military to personal weapons commissioned weapons. Duane is one of the best measures of craftsmanship in Amber though he seldom involves himself in any work now days. He lives alone near the foundry and despite having a near celebrity status makes almost no social functions.

            This is the place to go to have something made or repaired. He has a reputation as a fair dealer and lives by his work. Marshals forge is a twenty four hours a day operation and hundreds on the floor at any one time. His men and women employees are exceptionally loyal to him and he returns this by giving them the highest pay in the foundry district.

            One of keys to his success is the fact that he has access to gas from deep under Amber. The same gas that powers the Amber flame, powers his forges and this means that his heating cost are at zero
