This shop and home is in a narrow building crammed between a spice importers shop and a florists it is a simple store front that has very little in the way of window dressing other than drying racks filled with bundles of drying herbs and shelves with bottles of murky liquids that have been sitting there long enough to separate out into liquid and sediments.
Neil and Aida Grigby, the proprietors, sell both potent cures and potions.

The show room of the shop is a cramped little room, which is filled with light from a skylight and light well. It is a tall room but has a tiny foot print maybe 10’x 8’ an opening into the upper living spaces connects them to the light well . As a visitor enters the shop is mainly row upon row of tiny bottles of love potions, herbal remedies and aphrodisiacs. There is a small counter between the show room and the back room, which is only covered by a tattered red and gold curtain. The curtain is sometimes drawn back to reveal the production room in the back. It is a considerably larger room dominated by a large worktable cluttered with books, papers, alembics distillers and all manner of strange chemical paraphernalia. This is usually where Neil and Aida spend their time, until once in a rare while someone comes into the shop ringing the entry bell and sends them scampering for the front counter. Offering to be of any assistance in their broken Thari.

They are decent chemists and Pharmacists with a good understanding of natural cures and remedies and how they work in Amber, some of their wares are sort of worthless due to their shelf life expiration but fro the most part they work. Their true genius is in toxicology, they have a dizzying array of antidotes and poisons their stores are some of the only sources for lethal snake and insect antivenin in the entire city they are known to have a outbuilding in the shared courtyard of the building called “the barn” which is thought to be their repository for all of their specimens. They do not sell their poisons they sell antivenin and antidotes to common poisons. They are also know to be friends and countrymen of Lista Kane, the royal physician when they are seen together the three of them seem always to be in some heated debate over some medical text or poring over some chart and chattering wildly at one another in their native tongue. They are known to keep her in good supplies of antivenin and antidotes “just in case” these supplies are always fresh and very effective if the need arises. They are responsible for many saved lives in amber most notably the amount of children of the city they have cured and saved.
