The furniture studio of Le Mobilier has a long history of creating the best furniture for all of the distinguished families in Amber. Many of the finest pieces seen in the Castle have been commissioned from the artisans working in the great warehouse Le Mobilier has conveniently stationed in the Harbor District. Pedestrians are often drawn to the great glass windows which line the front of the studio to see the best and greatest of the wares the craftsman have made, waiting to be delivered. And there are many wagers are placed as they speculate for whom these pieces have been made. Every Thursday, family carriages proudly displaying their crests come to pick up their completed pieces. It is said that your home is not complete until it has at least one piece made by from this studio gracing its rooms. The studio runs a licensed apprenticeship program, and despite the many years of service to completion, the waiting list is quite long for those desperate to learn from the best. Indeed, if you are not a licensed graduate, no matter how skilled or how good your work is, it is often seen as second-rate. The ownership of the studio has always been in the hands of the Finleigh family. The current owner, Jamie, has had a childless marriage and is now getting older in years. Although no one has asked him, there is some speculation as to which of his nieces or nephews will take over once he retires.
