This great West arch is distinct among the four great arches of Amber. Though impressive and suitably large it is also a structure that one can use. Two large spiral stairs take sightseers high up above the city where you can see over the Great west wall off to the West and all across Amber. As the first of the great arches to be finished it is not as ornate but it makes up for this by offering one of the best views in Amber.

            Around the base of the Western arch is a great wide square of ground that is home to both a weekly swap meet, and farmers market dominated by small time craftsmen and peddlers this is one of the more colorful attraction.
