Description: The epitome of an Amber district is the Eastpoint district. A stable blend of middle and merchant class. Located out on the southern end of the eastern arm the Eastpoint District has long been the back bone of old Amber. No district is more fond of their area then the Eastpoints who even have their own flag. They love to show off what wonderful views they have and always invite other for a walk around to see the sights.

They have even gone as far as to appoint their own militia the so called walking patrol who are part security guards part tour guides. These helpful red clad walkers make this district one of the most pleasant and safest places to visit.

Surrounded on three sides by the sea it is known for it's many points, views, and vistas this district is one of your better romantic strolling locations. All most all homes have roof platforms for viewing, in fact the roof platform is sort of like the front porch of the Eastpoint. Each night you can see families up there chatting and yelling over to their neighbors.

Type of Homes: The buildings here are boxes. One, two or three story the Eastpoint box is a way of life. The roofs however are a strange sloped affair with three angels and rounded bottoms. No one knows why but that is the way they have always been out there.

Type of Roads: The roads of the Point are a mix of just about everything you can find in Amber. They are all well cared for but you can be on tile, cobble, green stone, flagstone, granite and sand just walking down to the corner for a pint.

Make up of people: This is a district dominated by traditional Amberites. They really don't mind anyone else but it's hard for anyone else to get in to a district that prides it's self on how many generations your family has lived at the same home.

History: One needs only to look at the history of Amber and there you will see the mirror of what has happened to the east district. Usually the Eastpoint has suffered greatly at the hands of Invaders who see it's lower cliffs as easy pickings when they invade. Twice this section of Amber has been over run and the citizens forced to flee.

One great event did shape the recent history of this long running district and that was the great fire of Amber. Though unclear how the fire was started it was the winds that created an otherwise nuisance fire into a calamity. Sweeping from the North West to the South East a hot afternoon gust spread the fire quickly across the point isolating much of the population away from Amber. The smoke swept down the roads and many were killed.

Reconstruction is now finished and only one small building lies unfinished as a tribute to those who had fallen in the great fire. To this day the Eastpointers have the best fire departments group in Amber.
