Description: The District of a hundred fountains has been constantly improved upon since the time of Oberon. Located along the outside of the Eastern Arm of Amber this is the generally considered the most beautiful. Suffering little from either Pattern Fall or the OSW, work here has focused on improvements that would enhance its aesthetic beauty including the 100 fountains for which it draws its name. Now there are countless fountains, ponds, streams and man made waterfalls. Every major crossroad circle has some distinguishing feature at its center.
 
Type of Homes: The homes here are the most uniform in all of amber and all share white slate roofs. The walls are of a white plaster, giving each of its streets a bright demeanor. Most homes here are tall narrow with alleys behind and small yards or gardens all around them.
 
Type of Roads: The roads of Fountain district very in type but not in feature. Each road is straight and most major roads are separated by small man made streams. Sidewalks are common here and are kept exceptionally clean by the locals. Roundabouts are also a common feature of the Fountain district most are feature places for special ponds or other water works.
 
Make up of people: The people of this district are mostly Amberite with only about one ten percent of the population being new comers. The attitude of this district is remarkable different from the mercantile center in the rest of Amber. Here people relax and enjoy a little more, Laughter and joking is a way of life and they are exceptional gracious and helpful.
 
History: Well known for it's dozens of Teahouses and wonderful eating establishments where one can find almost anything their heart desires. The Fountain district has benefited from never being damage in the long history of Amber. Steadily building on the achievements from the generation before slowly the Fountain district turned from an average to poor district into one of the attractions of Amber. A large investment in schools over the years has made them the most educated and well read.
The people of this easygoing district host several wonderful celebrations per year that attract attendees from all across the GC.
 
Current Information: What can be said about this district. Having reach such a high level of success they are content to sit back and enjoy the fruits of their labors. There is a push on now to add more fountains along the great walk but people tend to feel that things are good the way they are.
