The Garden
District
Description: When you enter the Garden District you have entered one of the most beautiful Districts in Amber. It's broad well cared for road invite you down garden lined streets leading to the centerpiece of this great district the Gardens of Amber. Everywhere you turn here there are art studios, salons cafe's and playhouses. This is now the cultural center of Amber. Here you are always surrounded by beauty of exotic plants and flowers from all over the GC and from throughout shadow. This is second in status only to the Noble district and here you will find most of the well off families. Now home to many upper class merchants as well, those who cater to only the best. From tailors to painters one comes to the Garden to find the best.
Type of Homes: The homes here are usually town manor or well off town houses. No home would be complete without a beautiful garden of some kind. They are very particular about the gardens and have competitions to see who's garden was the best.
Type of Roads: Decided upper class the well paved streets of the garden District are broad and without walk ways. They are all centered around the major gardens making a direct rout through the district impossible

Make up of people: This district is made up of 60% newcomers but do to their wealth and status they are doing what they can to fit in so in many ways they out Amber the Amberites.
History: Suffering greatly from the damage of PFW and from the OSW this district was not only rebuild but improved upon. Where once there had been dilapidated rows of warehouses and rotting building now sprung forth the glory of the Garden District. It started as a quick way to recover the lands of this old Amber district and to quickly produce a supply of food for the city, just in case of attack.
Slowly these civil food gardens were converted into more aesthetic flower gardens as the war moved father and farther outside of the GC. As it was rebuild large area of gardens were preserved. Six major theme gardens with two dozen smaller flower gardens along with running green ways and a dozen large parks make this district a new rival for the Fountain district for the most beautiful in Amber.
This has also become home to the burgeoning art scene in amber. Here many small threatens and playhouses were constructed and acting troops struggle desperately to attract audiences.
