Description: Located along the Western walls of Amber between the Kolvir District and the foot of Mt Kolvir this is one of the four districts of the new Amber. The Ivory District received its name from the long white off white woods used in its construction. Also the stones commonly used here are a white marble giving the entire district a very clean appearance.

This is home to the middlemen of Amber the ones who make sure everything works. The bean counters, the managers and supervisors. Though not well off as the other new districts and not as placid as the Brick district the Ivory District is what makes Amber run. Many workers at the GC live here as well for it's lower land value and close proximity to work.

Type of Homes: Town homes with yards and town manors are the most common feature in this district. A growing trend has been to combine a lower level merchant shop with an upper level residential dwelling this is now one of the most common structures. Despite it's clean appearance this is a low to middle income district home to many laborers, minor civil workers and poorer merchants as well as middle management.

Type of Roads: The roads in this district are laid out in a near perfect grid.  Thanks to Flora who worked hard on this district. Many say she worked too hard on this district for what it was. The roads here are hands down the best in Amber. They are wide with raised side walks and many drains. Every corner has a white street sign so it is easy to find your way around.

Make up of people: Here are an even mix of traditional Amberites and Newcomers, artist who need cheep rent and workers who can afford better. Here middle managers, aids and assistants from the one true city struggle to make a better life.

History: Part of the new Amber it was walled in and finished last being Centered around the Barracks for the Amber Marshals this part of the new Amber's brings together part of the old Amber by enclosing the great cemetery and the reservoir. It has always been a firebrand with crowds quick to form and groups quick to take offense. It is here that Anti-RBL feeling was once at it's heights. It has lost the hatred for the RBL but not it's fervor for what ever cause is blowing in the wind.

Current Information: Currently there is construction on a new field for games and the people are very excited about that. There is also grumbling that they are paying to support Districts like the Harbor that should be cleaned out.
