Cyryss is a flat land that runs from a slight coastal rise to the range lands before Arden. Hassford specialize in the production of cheese, creams and milk all along the coast. The intermediate area is mainly for sheep and wool production and the upper range lands that run along Arden are the largest beef producer in the Amber region.

            The Ellswards are accounting fanatics and keep running inventory of anything taxable in their land. They tax all of Noble and common and they make no exceptions. Their taxes are hated but the people have learned to live with it. The Ellsward's on the other hand can tell you at any time how much wool they are likely to ship or how much feed they will need to buy for the winter. They know everything and their Regional Adjusters or RAs (Taxmen) are everywhere.

            The Ellwards have maximized each dollar they have invested in Cyryss and have spent a great amount of time making sure that all share a border are on the best of terms. Of all the regions they get along with Arden the best making deals for beef, wool and cheese. They are well liked in Arden and are trying to improve that all the time.
