The Makings of War

Alright settle down and listen up.  We have alot of ground to cover today.  I know you would all just like to go out there and rumble it up, however there are a few things you must know first..  There are two main things that are most important in a war and they are Communication and the Code of Conduct.

Communication

To know they enemy is to already defeat him.  That is the old saying.  However if you don't know what your enemy is doing you are in a serious predicament.  Even though we do not speak the same language there is a global communication system that all warriors are taught to follow when encountering the enemy.

  1. A wave is often used to get an enemy's attention.
  2. Another way to get an enemy's attention is to point.
  3. A warrior issues a challenge by beckoning an opponent.
  4. As custom dictates a warrior always salutes thier enemy before drawing a weapon.
  5. Women often use a curtsey instead of a salute.
  6. Sometimes a bow is used in place of the curtsey or salute.
  7. A warrior always honors the fallen for thier bravery with a bow.
  8. After the fallen are honored a warrior often celebrates with a victory cheer.
  9. Often times when a comrade is ressurrected they are afflicted with a sickness, a cry indicates this.

Code of Conduct

All warriors know the importance of following the code of conduct.  It is what seperates us from savage animals during times of war.  Those who do not follow the rules of war of often branded outcasts and dealt with appropriately by both comrades and enemies alike.  Memorize the code and follow it.  Do not dishonor yourself or your family's name.

  1. Duels are always 1 on 1.  To jump into anothers battle is to dishonor them and thyself.
  2. A warrior may only challenge those who are worthy opponents. This means blue and above.  If a low level warrior issues a challenge you may accept.
  3. Healers of the realm are to be left untouched.  All know know that a healer is no match for a trained warrior.  However, if a healer issues a challenge then you may accept with a clear concience.
  4. A warrior does not attack one who is not ready for combat.  There is no honor nor glory in attacking the weak.
  5. Above all, a warrior adheres to the customs and rules of war.  Failure to do so will result in being branded an outcast and will be dealt with severely.
