Started on pirate radio station Lightning FM based in Clacton-On-Sea Essex in 1988, then in 1989 done Radio Cracker in Colchester (this being a charity legal station). 1993 joined Innercity Radio 105.6 in Chelmsford for a unforgettable experience in radio.This is where "Colonel C's Soul Spread" was born.

1993 I also joined Ipswich Community Radio (legal) and still with, presenting a RnB show.

August 1995 Flex 107 FM was set up in Ipswich, together with 6 other top DJs created the station. Stopped doing Flex FM @ the end of 1999 to focus on doing legal radio (currently with ICR fm and also Soul 24-7, but open 2 offers) my vision is to spread the RnB/Soul sounds as far as possible with interviews of the biggest names in RnB, aswell as the local UK acts who also deserve the exposure.

June 2001 had the pleasure of joining internet radio station SOUL 24-7, specializing in real Soul, RnB,

Got involved @ SOULTRADE Magazine in 1996 informing them of any music news from the area. Became very good friends with them all @ there base in North London, and in the same year began doing song reviews for them.

Uprising International - Canadian Music Newspaper, got involved in June 2001via long time friend
Delroy Holmes now living in Canada. I did update them on any UK RnB news + RnB chart.

Created Magic Touch Promotions in 1996 which we held events @ The Forum in Colchester 4 a
number of years, guests have included Ola & Lenice on stage & Max Rees & Bigger as Guest jocks.
Played @ Clubs in Ipswich / Colchester / Bedford / London / Lincoln & Clacton.
