Goalie Equipment

All of my equipment is pretty old, but usable, as I do...

Elbow: I have some really cheap Franklin skating elbow pads. I'm going to get some new elbow pads when I sell my skates (email...).

Shin: I have some dillapidated Tour Forward shin pads. I fixed them, though, and now their in decent shape! I'm getting some of them, too, with my skate money...

Skates: I have some Tour Hockey skates. I have some Bauer off-ice NHL Boot skates that are too small for me - those are the ones I'm selling...

Helmet: I use a Mylec Junior helmet with faceguard. I used to have a CCM Ice helmet, but it kinda fell apart...waaaay overuse...what can I say? I love hockey!

Shorts: I have some old Koho's, with Vic suspenders.

Mouthguard: I have a Shock Docter mouthguard.

Gloves: I use some Easton Ice gloves. I need to get them repalmed...ugh.

Chest/Shoulder: I don't have any...yet another item I'm going to get with my skate money...sigh. I wear an Army tankers flak vest underneath my goalie chest protector, to protect my back from stick pokes, and stuff like that.

Goalie Equipment

Blocker: I have a cheap Frankling Lightning blocker. When I play, I'll use the teams blocker. I got this blocker for free from a friend.

Pads: I use some Franklin SH Comp 1250 pads. I got them at Goodwill for $5, in good shape. I'm a bargain shopper. I always wear knee or shinpads underneath my pads, because sometimes, when you go into butterfly, your knees slip out of pads, and make a real (not-so) nice acquaintance with the hard floor. : )

Trapper: I use a cheap Franklin Street Edge. When I play, I'll use the teams catcher. I got this for $3.75 at a consignment store - it's MUCH better than trying to play with a baseball glove.

Chest: I use a Baseball Catchers Chest protector. Not the best, but better than nothing. When I play, I'll use the teams.

Helmet: I use the Mylec Helmet...not the best, but, once again, better than nothing. I will get a goalie helmet, soon.

Throat: Don't have one...dangerous, yah, I know. I'll either get one or get a goalie helmet...

Stick: I use a cheap Franklin stick from a long time ago. I need to get another one. It's ok, though, because I play kind of a low stance. I hardly ever play with my stick, anyway. If someone's coming, pshew, the stick's gone, on a faraway pokecheck-it usually works. I'm gonna get a new goalie stick, too...

Skates: Same ones.
