Introduction

Rotaract Sycamore Club of Hubli comes under R.I.Dist.-3170 few classmates last year studying in final year degree thought of developing such a group which would keep them together even after the degree finally the group was formed and the group members met a couple of times, but only for entertainment .Then they thought fun should not be the ultimate goal .It was felt neccessary to do some noble cause for the society. They started functioning on these grounds . But the group had their own limitations, a support and guidance from some other group was felt neccessary. There were quite a few options available, but the best one that was felt was to be under the shelter of ROTARY CLUB.

And once ROTARY was decided to be our guiding club we approached ROTARY CLUB OF HUBLI MIDTOWN as it is well known for its social services since past many years, and thus our club was formed on the auspicious day of "Gandhi Jayanti" 2 nd October 2000 and was chartered on 16 th April 2001 with the help of Rtn.Ashok Tolannavar and Rtn.Dr. D.R Khobre. As an parent club they appriciated our thoughts and they gave us support,guidance and helped us to give birth to ROTARACT SYCAMORE CLUB and further develop it we are greatfull to ROTARY CLUB OF HUBLI MIDTOWN. And today our club is developing and functioning with 49 proud members as part of it
