Gamemaster Evaluation Form

This form was uniquely developed by Jared, Ben, and Brian for the purpose of rating each of our gamemastering skills. By using the form a gamemaster may receive honest feedback about his gamemastering style and learn how to advance his gamemastering skills for the further enjoyment of the players. The form contains 13 different categories in which a gamemaster may be rated and a section for additional comments.

Categories: Rated from 1 to 10
1=Horrible (Maybe gamemastering isn't your thing!)
3=Keep trying
5=Mediocre
7=Fair
9=Great
10=Ultimate Gamemaster

Role-Playing: Do the PC's have a wide range of interaction with the NPC's? Is every encounter just an excuse for swordplay?

Combat Format: Presentation and execution of combat.

Creativity: Is your material original and fresh? Do you have intrigue and interesting plots?

NPC's: Are they varied individuals or the same people?

Difficulty Level: Are your adventures/characters impossible to overcome or easy to overwhelm?

Close NPC's: Are the NPC's able to interact with the PC's in a personal manner and develop a relationship with them?

Detail: Are things really vague and boring or is your world full of detail and life? Do the surroundings immerse your characters into your world? Do they feel like they are actually there?

Character Usage: Are you making the most effective use of PC's and close NPC's? Do they contribute to the reality and flow of the game?

None RQ Items/Spells: Do you vary from the set standard of rules to add diversity to your world?

Character Freedom: Are your characters free to explore your world without pre-set unchangeable paths or are they limited in their courses of action?

Level-Up System: Do you effectively allow your characters to develop and progress?

Overall Fun: Is it fun for you and the characters in your world to play?
