South Teuvian Trains Safe

KAPITALSTADT—Security services in Sunamia, Turia, and Schwerdt report they are coordinating security for international rail service between the South Teuvian countries. While details have not been released, police and military are securing the rail lines and riding the trains in each country.

Dr. Hans Gürtner, Chancery State Secretrary for Justice and Security, said, "Schwerdt and its South Teuvian neighbors will not be bullied by a bunch of fanatical thugs. Our security services are working together to ensure STARS continues to run as scheduled." STARS is the South Teuvian Association for Rail Services. It runs the international passenger rail service between major cities in Sunamia, Turia, and Schwerdt.

The stepped-up security measures follow reports of terrorist activities in Turia. According to sources, organised militants marched on Maynilad, the Turian capital, but were neutralised by security forces there.
