Steiner Appoints New Ministers
KAPITALSTADT—Just three days after his inauguration, Chancellor Felix Steiner appointed a new slate of Federal Ministers. The Ministers lead the agencies which oversee day-to-day governmental affairs of Schwerdt. By virtue of their positions, the Ministers also hold membership in the Council of the Realm or Reichsrat.
In making the announcement, Steiner said, "Our new Ministers are all experts in their fields. To a person, they are progressive and committed to serving their constituencies." Steiner also thanked the former Ministers for their dedication and service.
The following were Steiner's appointments:
- Max Abratis—Foreign Affairs
- Markus Ibel—Domestic Affairs
- Dr.-Jur. Gerhard Simons—Justice and Security
- Prof. Dr. Werner Hilgers—Economics and Resources
- Dr.-Ing. Konrad Indlekofer—Commerce and Industry
- Dr.-Ing. Nicolai Tech—Information and Science
- Dr. Lisbeth Hiltrude—Labor and Social Wellbeing
- Theodor Spaneck—Transport and Infrastructure
