Shooting Stars

Amber Carlson: Amber loved to her live her life as if she was acting out a show. She raised her daughter, Cinnamon to be the same way. But tragedy struck the Carlson family when Amber, thirty-six years old, got pregnant again after so many years. Experiencing one miscarriage in the past, she remained extra careful not to lose the baby she named "Sacha." Despite her efforts another miscarriage happened in her sixth month of pregancy. The loss of another child, one she tried so hard to keep, not to mention the hormonal strain on the body, can be a massive shock. It sent Amber into delirium and she was eventually committed. She spoke as if she was living in a dream state, thinking she had given birth to "Sacha" permaturely. Poor Amber. Luckily, Cinnamon's mother finally broke through her insanity not to mention her coma) and returned home, ready to face the knowledge and the real world.

Grandmother Beverly: I wouldn't begin to call her insane but she certainly was crazy in her own right. Grandmother, I think, was just a lonely old woman who was so used to running the house, bossing people aorund, and being in charge, couldn't quite get a grasp that coming to her son's home did not make it HER home to run. It's in my opinion that SHE needed to be committed and not Amber. *wink*
