Logan
In Chapter 11 of "Melody," Melody is talking on the phone to Alice and says, "There is a lot happinging, Alice." It should have been spelled "happening." (page 213)
In "Unfinished Symphony," Melody writes a letter to Alice about going to L.A. to find her mother. She notes that she is staying with Holly's sister and her husband, Dorothy and Peter... In Chapter 3, Dorothy tells Melody that his name is Phillip.
On page 15 of "Olivia," a sentence reads: "Who is the father?' I demanded. She didn't reply. "You've got to say, Olivia. Whoever he is..." This is said BY Olivia to Belinda. --RedMtM/Melissa (Also noted by Samimojojojo)
Also in Olivia on page 39 Belinda turns to Olivia and asks, "I'll be well enough Monday, won't I, Belinda?" --RedMtM/Melissa
"Music in the Night": This book broke the 5-book pattern that all V.C. Andrews books have previously followed. This pattern traditionally ends with the 5th book as a prequel and goes back to events that began before the first book. The Logan series broke this chain by making MITN about Laura Logan.
In "Melody," Haille says Jacob is younger than Chester by a few years. In "Olivia," Jacob was born first. --Maureen
On page 280 in "Melody," the word 'palette' should be 'palate' by definition. --MNCPassion
In "Melody" when she Cary and May are having their cookout the word mussels is mispelled m-u-s-c-l-e-s. In "Heart Song," right after Jacob has his heart attack, he [Cary] and Melody are about to make love in her bedroom and she worries that May and Sara might hear them. How would May hear them if she is deaf? --Jennifer Turner
On page 75 in Unfinished Symphony in the second paragraph guilty is spelled with a "Q" not a "G". --EarthAngel
In "Heart Song' after Uncle Jacob has the heart attack he says he wants to talk to Melody, he says he knows why Hallie is so promiscuous, because he helped her be that way. But in the rest of the series it never says exactly what Jacob did to make Hallie that way. So once again the reader is left hanging!! --EarthAngel
In the Melody series, they describe Laura as having green eyes and a dark complexion. On the cover of Music in the Night, she's pictured with a light complexion and blue eyes. I've read where Cary is described as having green eyes, but on the covers of Melody and Unfinished Symphony, his eyes are dark. Also, on the cover of Heart Song, the artist depicted him as having blue eyes. Also on the cover of Melody, it looks to me like May has green eyes rather than hazel-brown, as it stated in the book. --MookyVirgo2001
