Orphans

The Orphan Series seems to have a lot of carbon copies of characters from past VC books. Such as Pamela Thompson seems to be a twin to Laura Sue Cutler with their vanity and emphasis on beauty and social activities only. And Janet Taylor, with her petite physique and shyness is almost identical to Carrie Dollanganger Sheffield. There also is some resemblance between Dimtri and Julian Marquet. --Althea

In Runaways Brooke and Raven are outside the Edwards house talking and this is what I saw on page # 314:

"How's it going?" he called.
"Okay" I said. Crystal and I walked toward him.
"What's wrong with your horse?"
"She stepped in a gopher hole. The vet says she'll be fine, but I've got to give her a good half-hour or so of exercise twice a day."
He looked at Raven .
