Rumours There are numerous fangames for Shenmue, the problem with shenmue fangames is that although playing the Shenmue series inspires you to make a fangame no one can capture the real magic we all expirienced playing Shenmue. The storyline follows shenmue except all the characters have been replaced by Sonic Characters. It is made in Games Factory and almost 2 years went into making this game. A refreshing game for shenmue fans and a great game for those who havent played Shenmue. Graphics-7/10 A little wiry at times but very good, amost everything is original art. The pause screen could be a little more polished Storyline-6/10 Low marks for being same as shenmue but still, it follows it to a T. Sound-10/10 Fantastic sounds, all your favourite tunes from Zelda, sonic and of course shenmue along with cassettes containing film music etc. Gameplay-9/10 Altough a little slow moving and sometimes buggy, the newest versions have less bugs and the control system is pretty detailed. Its made in Rm2k and looks like a newbie project, the graphics dont fit in with one another, the sound is amateur and the gameplay is what can be expected from an rm2k game with no customization but this may change as it is released.PS-Review is on Demo version Graphics-3/10 Worst possible in my eyes, the chipsets are medievil and there is too much random objects. Dosent look like a boat Storyline-2/10 Following a fanfic and badly at that, has no action. Sound-1/10 Not many sounds, if there is they dont fit in with the scene. Gameplay-1/10 No customization over the rm2k gameplay. Shenmue Zero Release Date-TBA Site-None as of yet Absolutely stunning, the first 3d fangame, looks great and all voices are with voice actors.The storyline is set when Ryo is 9, my main concern is that if its freeware how will it be downloaded on a 56k modem with so much detail and sounds?
