Dear President Bush;

We, the members of the Assyrian SHURAYA Party are represented in the United States and other countries of the world.

We stand united in support of America , in you and your leadership at this time of crisis that has come upon the country. We express our sorrow and condolences for the loss of so many American lives in this tragedy .

We Assyrians have also seen many dark days and suffered for hundreds of years because of our Christian belief but nothing compares to this cowardly act that was committed by the terrorists and those who supported them.

Our prayers and those of our people are with you, all government officials, local civil authorities and the relatives, friends and families who are grieving and mourning the loss of their loved ones .
