Yep, you saw right! After 37 spaztastic layouts and at least 5 years of subtle insanity, it's time for something new!
The primary layout of the new site, affectionately titled Kanrakucho (literally "cheese-cake" in Japanese), is all done. For the most part. The navigation for the new place needs to be fixed while the new content goes up. Once it's all done though, this site is no longer updated. I'm moving the fanlisting page to the new site though, that won't be here anymore, because those I really need to keep up with. I plan on joining more fl's soon anyway, plus it's good to clean out the ones that died.
I want to show you the test page really badly, but the thing is, I actually have two. One is the enter page, but it doesn't even have the things that one can call an "enter page", it's basically an intro to the site. So I guess it'll be a surprise until December or so ^_^! Bweheheheh!
It's super cute though. I love the colors. And I think I figured out how to fuddle with the CSS enough so I can get my crazy iframes look back again. I'll test that someday on the old res to double check, but if it's gonna be off by a couple of pixels, I'm not about to freak. They don't call it the standard res for nothing ^_^;;. Man I can't believe I'm saying this...
Halloween was a blast! My LJ has the link to my cosplay.com gallery. The LJ also has any posts I put up since the last blog. School's keeping me super busy so I can barely ever blog here since I'm pooped ^_^;; but I still get to go online.
I'm excited for a lot of things with this whole new web site thing. I get to spiffy up the TTS page again, since I'm halfway done scanning the book, so it'll only be a matter of time until I actually start drawing it out and attempting to serialize it. For the record, Peet STILL doesn't know about it ^_^;;. I'm too nervous to show him it still, but I have a weird feeling that I really shouldn't be. I mean, worst comes to worst, he won't like it, but I don't think he'll tear me apart. I really hope he doesn't! The thing has alot of patches to be worked on by the time I draw it out, but I hope he kinda likes it at least. That's all I really want ^_^;;. Just like it dammit!
He's been busy with a lot of things so I guess that's also why I push it off too. He's busy in a good way though, Alterna is really taking off :D! So happy!!!
Well my fingers are cold and I need lunch. I'll try to work on the new site again tonight, and in the mean time, I gotta stop by my affiliates. I'm not dead!! =O

Don't worry, I was busy the past month too. I think everyone was ^_^;;.
My orientation was super fun! My group wasn't so fun though..they just came off like they didn't wanna open up or anything. (Antioch analogy - the Rock vs. the Rose :) But what fun I had, it came in buckets! The talent show was hilarious and just amazing!! The people there were super nice at the orientation, I made a few friends who were also art major folks :)
And the club fair was just awesome! I hung around with the Gaming Club most of the time, and I was playing Guilty Gear (Japanese fighting game) and another crazy old-school 2D shooter, I don't know what it's called. But it was a lot of fun! The people were cool ^_^.
I got my giant list of art supplies today in the mail. O___O. I got a heart attack when I first saw it, it's crazy scary!! But the more I read into it, I realized a few things - 1) "Oh I have half of these stuff already b/c of AP!", 2) "Pschh I bet I won't be needing that right away! I'll get it when I need it!", and 3) "...Does that even exist? I doubt I HAVE to buy that EVER!"

Cindy is not scared of her art supplies list anymore ^_^. Anyhow, I finally kept my promise of cleaning out the Avatars and Icons in that section :)! Just now I cleared through it, reuploaded lost ones (wasn't alot!), put up new ones, etc. Also, the subpages' links weren't working!! Ack! So sorry!! I forgot a teensy important thing in the coding. My bad!
In speaking of site stuff, a couple of days ago I FINALLY started Final Fantasy XII. Yes, our last layout was that. Yes, I didn't play that game until a week ago. I had it since March. Stuff got in the way ^_^;; but it's a very good game, I love the battle system! It's like the only thing that makes me continue to play it XDD! I get all ADD in the storyline, I can't really follow it well, I think I'm too distracted by the graphics and voice-acting. (Really good voice-acting!)
Either that or the plot is WAY too straight-forward and simple for me. Of course, I'm only about...9 hours into the game? So no kidding a lot hasn't happened. Of course, for me that's no excuse. As a fan of VII and the other greats, there should be a lot happening within 9 hours of gameplay in an RPG. Otherwise, whytf are you doing making this type of game?
Sooo....I've been working on more of my Halloween costume. LJ has more details on that. This post is long as it is, so I can't really go into detail. Just that I did one sleeve ^_^, and after sewing up my other, I'm gonna close up more of the back so that way it looks better and the sleeves just stay on better! Woo! Catch ya later :)!
