The time has come to restore both sanity and civility to my online life -- hah not for long. I'm fighting again. You can even vote for my spirit page in the Golden Elite Spirit Page Contest. My niece, Haldis, wants to see how it's done so I'm fighting with The Golden Elite. I was also fighting wtih Site Fights, but they asked me to choose. I chose the Golden Elite because they do more than send form letters to fighters. Communication means a lot. It means more than my custom made racer which is currently garaged on this page.

Well here it is. I have to have this piece of graphic on my web page until I get the OK for my little grad student.

A Graphic Invitation

This is not a set! There is just my name plus two fairly small pieces, and they are all transparent .gifs. You can have them if you like. If you take them, feel free to let me know what you did with them. It takes a fair amount of basic html knowledge to lay out thhis page as I have done. It also took some thinking outside the box. Of course at least half a dozen different designs are possible with the two pieces. Give it a try.

Yes, this is an official Hey You Sir's banner. I post there though I see the same faces over and over again. Most web site competitors don't vote exchange. Running a campaign is time consuming though it is better than nonvote exchange competitions which limit you to pleasing a much smaller circle of people.

I also joined or was finally admitted to this exclusive voting board. Unfortunately, it has the same problem as Hey You Sir's. Oh what have I done?

What's Happening?

My email is now Thadea@manidae.org This is a permanent replacement for my old email that collapsed May 6, 2002.

OK, this page has pretty much outgrown this design. This was a much smaller site when I created this design last summer. Since then it has added two pages, a few more graphics, and often a lot more text. A couple of more pages or the need for an annotation in the navigation table makes this page, big, floppy, sloppy, and unwieldy.

Unfortunately, while I fight, I don't have time for a full redesign. I may work in stages and have up a link to the work in progress redesign and then slide it in as an index and leave this up as the old version. All of that of course is on the drawing board.

And don't you wish you had a sweater like this. Ursala is a new addition to the curio shelf. Another of my dolls, Treemanisha, is in a contest at the Dolls Palace but the gallery there does not yet have the new images in it. I'll put up more news as I get it.

Tomorrow Haldis, my niece, takes the last of her AP's and then crawls off somewhere to die. My husband, Jacob, is snowed under with papers and everyone feels like a rubber band stretched too thin. Thank God I have my web site competitions to keep me sane. Even at the worst of times, fighters make the best company.
