The music and styles of the 80's
were wildly varied, overall most my favourite
songs and a large proportion of my record
collection comes from the 1980's. So why do such
old records and cassettes still hold my attention
and fascination after all these years? Is it
because i'm just stuck in the past? Yeah most
Probably! Still, the 80's have left some of the
best music memory's for almost every genre. They
started with some promising work from David Bowie
with 'Scary Monsters' and The Human League's
'Dare' not to mention albums from the Eurythmics,
Visage, Madonna, Soft Cell, Cyndi Lauper, A-HA,
Kate Bush, and more too many to mention here.
That isn't to say all 80's music was good, not
saying any names though (Danni Minouge, Whitney
