Don't look at people you don't know
like you want to kill them.

On
November 6, 2002, The TNFC Mayor (Christine, #13)
and myself went to the Ok Go instore at Tower
Records (South Street) in Philadelphia. Now, i
thought it would be funny if i showed up with a
video camera- I could tape their set, and maybe i
could ask them if they had anything to say to the
lovely TNFC Cabinet.
I had the intention of getting there early, so i
could ask them if they would be cool with me
videotaping, but, as luck would have it, we
arrived halfway into their set and towards the
end of C-C-C-Cinnamon Lips.
Afterwards, they went over to the meet and greet
table, where they signed stuff and talked to
fans. Since we're both a tad bit anxious by
nature, The Mayor and i started to feel reallllly
creepy, because we were just standing there and
were a bit hesitant to go up and talk to them,
despite the fact that i had talked to them a few
times before (your president is a W-U-S-S!).
Well, we finally went over to them.
Unfortunately, i lack the technological means
necessary to show you the video. So, Why did i
bring the video cam? Simple. It was easier than
bringing my digital camera and tape recorder. I
know that all of you appreciate my efforts (humor
me.). So, for now, this will have to do.
*I didn't get to ask Andy, since he was busy
talking to people. I did, however, catch him
while he was about to go upstairs and told him
about the "creepy" look he gave me
while i was filming during Get Over It.
"I gave you a creepy look???" i had to
correct myself, and told him that he looked at me
like -I- was creepy. "i looked up and saw
the camera. and then i was -ON-."
Holla!

Talk to the TNFC after every show. Actually, talk to them
BEFORE every show, then rock out, then talk to them
afterwards. etc, etc, etc.
