Booking & Promotional Material

We are currently looking to fill out our Spring tour.
NorthWest US & Canada, here we come! Vroom!

Contact trash_ready@hotmail.com for booking!

Venues: We really like to book at bars and theatres, with bands, DJs and other live performers. That said, our show is definitely adaptable for school and bookstore performance venues.

Tech Requirements: Our show runs approximately 50 minutes in length and requires a stage, PA, soundboard, sound system with CD player, three mics, and a DV video projector and screen. Alternately, there is a low-tech version of the show available for performances at bookstores and smaller venues. We also generally travel with a tech person.

Availability: Wednesdays & weekends if you're in southern Ontario; and most other days if you book in far enough advance.

Rates: We're touring our show D.I.Y & have no funding; as such, our rates are negotiable--but don't let anyone tell you we're cheap.
Especially not our exes.

Bring Sex,Gender and Hysteria on Tour
Toronto Performance Poets Will Captivate you with their Multi-Media production

TRASH & READY is a word-based multimedia performance project created by Lisa Foad, Hadassah Hill, and Zoe Whittall. This trio of authors and performance artists are taking their show on the road with the WORDWHORE TOUR: a captivating arcade of sex, gender, hysteria, video and confession, lipstick and loudmouths.

Their humorous brand of brash queer femininity confronts issues of sexuality and gender identity with wit and style. Come for the costumes and cleavage, stay for the poignant insight into high femme life.

TRASH AND READY have performed in Toronto at Buddies in Bad Times, Strange Sisters and the Gladstone Hotel; in Montreal for Casa del Popolo?s Words and Music series; at Ladyfest Ottawa, and in Waterloo, Hamilton, Guelph and London, Ontario. They?ve been profiled on CBC radio and have appeared individually on MuchMusic, Bravo?s Book Television and TVO?s Imprint.

The Wordwhore Tour is heading west this May to Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, and San Fransisco!
