Hair Tutorial
This hair tutorial requires a paint program, with a pencil tool. You do not need PSP or Photoshop to follow
this tutorial.
As with all of my tutorials, the end result is © to me (Turtle), and if you frankendoll or copy parts
of my dolls, or claim them as your own, action will be taken.
We are making hair today! All you need to do is open up a doll you have
drawn an outfit on. You can open a naked base to draw the hair on, but personally
I like to do the hair last.
There is images to help you while you follow this tutorial.
1. Okay! I am assuming
you have already opened up the doll you wish to draw hair on. If you haven't open it up. In order to draw hair, you have to have some sort
of an idea for the style. Curls, ponytail, braids, or just straight? In my example, I am making my hair like mine was today. Using a dark version of
the color you want the hair to be. In my case it is brown. If your outline is too scribbled, using the eraser tool, erase it to make it tidy, like my
example.
2. Using a slightly lighter color, outline the part of
the hair, and the sides of the hair. If you have made it this far, congragulations! You have finished the hardest part (the outline) so from here on, you just have to shade.
Please keep in mind that you cannot copy my hair pixelxpixel, or else you won't learn anything!
3. You are doing excellent! To contine getting the pixel-shaded hair,
shade a little bit more, with a slightly lighter color. Only shade a bit of it, near the part to keep it from getting a really
bad apeareance.
4. Shade it just a tad more. The hair is really coming along! n_n;
Isn't this doll going to be pretty once she has a hair-do? x3 To 100% complete the hair-do (with a few tips for
decorations when you are done), just follow the next step, and gawk at your beautiful hair!
5. Wow! You should really be proud of
yourself, because you just completed a beautiful, shiny pixel-shaded hair! n_n; Now that you are done with the hair itself, you can
follow my below mini-tutorials if you want to make your hair just a tad more unique! =D

Rose in the Hair;
Okay, if you want a rose in the hair, simply scribble a circle-shaped thing. It has to be tiny! Be sure to draw a leaf, if you want and shade the flower. Congragulations! ^_^
Add eyes to your base, and it'll be complete! :o
