The Central Oregon Coast has some beautiful and unusual places for wedding
ceremonies. Here are some of my favorites:
Beverly Beach State Park. Group Yurt with kitchen facilities. Easy access
to beach.
Cape Perpetua. Highest point on the Oregon coast. Beautiful stone shelter 800' above the ocean.
Donald Davis Memorial Park. Oceanfront enclosed shelter. City Park, no charge, first come, first served.
Heceta Head Lighthouse. Most photographed lighthouse on the Oregon coast. Located midway between Yachats and Florence.
Heceta Head Lightkeeper's House. Weddings can be held indoors in one of two parlors, on the porch, or outside on the expansive lawn.
Honeyman State Park, West Picnic Area. Beautiful grassy area along Lake Woahink. Group yurt or outdoors.
Little Log Church and Museum. Historic building in the heart of the little village of Yachats.
Marine Discovery Tours. Can go out to the ocean or cruise Yaquina Bay in Newport. Indoor seating for 49 people.
Oregon Coast Aquarium. Backdrop is a shark tank. Located in Newport, OR.
Westward Ho! Sternwheeler. Historic sternwheeler cruises the Siuslaw River and bay in Florence.
Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. Historic lighthouse with living quarters restored to period.

Other locations: Salishan Lodge in Lincoln City and the Hallmark Resort in Newport are equipped to accommodate large groups for both ceremony and reception. The Adobe Resort, Yachats Inn, Overleaf Lodge, all in Yachats, have beautiful settings. Many private oceanfront homes are used as vacation rentals and some bed and breakfast inns permit weddings on their grounds for their guests. In addition, State Parks and beach coves are in abundance. We can assist you in matching the place to your needs! |
