The battle of Staligrad was one of the most important battles of WWII. This battle would decide whether German armies would advance south of the Soviet Union and completly wipe out all of Europe. The battle left thousands dead, and as Hitler had said himself, "The God of war had gone over to the other side".
By 1942, Hitler had taken over a vast majority of Europe. This battle would prove to be vital in determining whether Hitler was to take over the whole world. Six months into the battle, German troops would surrender and the war would shift. The world would now have it's chance to come back and defeat Germany.
