Arrange Window/Song Folder |
Arrange Window/Song Folder The arrange folder is a graphic representation of the event list. You can copy any folder and paste it in any folder or from file to file. Tempo Folder controls the Environment page Tempo Tool Inside this Song folder there are Instrument Icons with Sequence Set-ups and Event or Note Sequences. All channels have three modes of operation, they are set by default to Norm. Ch.10, the Drum channel has, 3 modes of operation. 1. Normal Mode turns the channel into an Instrument Voice Sound channel. ( Has to be setup in the setup folder. ) 2. Drum Mode plays GM and XG Drums Sounds. The OrangeSong is set up to play normal GM / XG drums. 3. Drum 1-2 Mode or Drum Edit Mode. The yellow folders use Drum Edit Mode. Controllers in the XG Drum Set-up Sequence control the overall levels of Drum Edit Mode. Drum Editor Folder (See Drum Editor Folder Page) There are three Effects Folders Reverb, Chorus, Variation, they contain all the parameters to control the Effects using the Sequencer. ( See Effects Folder Page ) |
Event List and the Hyper Editor
These are pages that display the same information but offer different editing facilities.
|
Event List Click to see Program Bank lists 0 - 8 In each channel set-up sequence Program Changes, Controller`s, and META Events are arranged like a control panel. Controller's can be added or deleted from this list. The values are to the left of the parameter name. Value 64 = center Program Changes, Controllers and META Events within the Event List are sent to the Environment where they are converted into SysEx numbers and other numbers that the DB50XG likes to receive. |
The Event List and the
Hyper Editor are the most powerful editors within Logic Audio, they control the
Environment.
|
Hyper Editor All the available controllers within the DB50XG Environment can be sculpted using the Hyper Editor and all controllers have been assigned within the Hyper Editor ready for instant use. |
|
Multi Environment The Environment is a conversion chart, it represents the internal parameters of the DB50XG. This page is the main Multi Mode controller page. All parameters within the Environment can be programmed from the Event List or the Hyper Editor, or you can simply use it as a Mixing Desk. |
|
Multi
Environment Cables This might look a
complete mess but it allows information from this page to other pages and
ultimately to the DB50XG |
