Rule Changes:
- Any racer may now enter any class they like, and any
number of classes.
- All racers are expected to marshal the race following
the one they entered. If a racer cannot marshal the next race - obtain
pre-approval for a substitute marshal, or do not race that race.
Habitual non-marshallers shall be penalized at the director’s discretion.
- Track time is a pay-as-you- go activity at the
raceways rate.
- Open 12’s are intended as a builder’s class and has
very simple rules as follows: Racers may use any legal size chassis
(basic USRA dimensions). Racers must use ceramic magnets.
Racers must use a production C-Can as a basis for the motor. Racers
must use a tagged X-12 armature. There is no minimum weight
required. Most anything else is up to the racer’s imagination.
- For the 2004-2005 Season - we are changing the way we
run BoxStock. Anyone is now eligable for this class. However, we will run
concurrently Pro's and Amateurs in the same race. They will be scored
separately, and the points will be accounted for separately. This
effectively allows us to run 6 races in one day. To be consistent with
USRA rules, Amatuer Box Stock will not allow epoxied magnets or shunt
wires, Pro Box will allow these modifications.
- After each race – all cars will be re-tech
inspected. Therefore – leave all
cars on the track after the race is completed.
- The “newsletter” will be available in electronic form
mainly. Paper will be delivered on an exception basis. Therefore keep your eye on these web
pages for updates on all activities, schedules, and results.
